Caerphilly (, /kɑːrˈfɪli/;Welsh: Caerffili, Welsh pronunciation: [ˌkairˈfɪlɪ]) is a town and community in Wales. It is situated at the southern fall of the Rhymney Valley.

It is 7 mi (11 km) north of Cardiff and 12 mi (19 km) northwest of Newport.
